CREATIVE FACES & FX

Discover how makeup and prosthetics can transform characters on screen in this fun, hands-on workshop to help bring your short films to life!

ABOUT MOVIE CLUB

Movie Club 2025 is all about hands-on fun for kids (no parents allowed!!). Whether they love making TikToks, YouTube videos, or just getting creative, this is the perfect place to get stuck in and start learning how to bring their ideas to life with our industry professionals.

Designed especially for ages 7-12, each session combines awesome films with exciting practical workshops, all supervised by the LYFF team.

Workshops are booked individually, so kids can join for just one session or stay for the whole day. There are four workshops per day and the same schedule runs across both days so kids can join for one day or spread their sessions over two days. If they love a workshop, they’re welcome to come back and do it again!

Movie Club takes place at Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds City Centre on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 April. Each workshop is £7.50, but book more than one and pay just £6 per workshop - more fun for less!
