Joe Dante's dark horror-comedy classic turns a simple gift into total chaos when an innocent mistake unleashes a horde of mischievous, havoc-wreaking creatures.

With its dusting of snow, Kingston Falls is an idyllic small town. It’s home to Billy Peltzer, a teenager who has just received an unusual present from his father with a specific set of instructions. In order to look after the strange, furry creature known as Gizmo, Billy has to follow three simple rules: keep him away from water, bright lights and, most importantly, never ever feed him after midnight...

Adults: £6.50
Child (under 14): £4

Recomended for ages 10+

The screening will be followed by a talk with Dr Kate Egan & Dr Catherine Lester from the Youth horror network.

For this screening, we’re inviting families spanning across generations to join us, encouraging parents/guardians and children to enjoy this experience together. Dr. Catherine Lester from the University of Birmingham and Dr. Kate Egan from Northumbria University are currently conducting research on the connection between childhood and the horror genre (as part of the Youth & Horror Research Network) and would love to hear from you about your experience together after the screening. Being experts when it comes to horror, they'll be able to answer any questions you might have.
