A profound expression of creative resistance made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective struggling against mass expulsion during the Israeli occupation of Masafer Yatta.

Co-created by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four young activists, No Other Land is one of the most profound expressions of creative resistance made under a brutal military occupation. Basel Adra is a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, a village in the occupied West Bank subjected to mass expulsion by the Israeli occupation since his childhood. Yuval, an Israeli journalist and fellow activist joins his struggle. Their complex bond is haunted by extreme inequality but together they work to find a path towards equality and justice. No Other Land is presented in partnership with the Leeds Palestinian Film Festival.

"One could call No Other Land the movie of the moment, but that label risks diminishing its urgent power. The events it chronicles speak directly to hardships making headlines in the news daily, but this portrait of the war on Palestine is a years in the making affair." - Pat Mullen, Point of View Magazine

The screening on 8 Nov will include a launch address by Richard Burgon, MP for East Leeds.
