This special selection of short film gems opening LIFF SHORTS 2024 features comedy, music, drama, dance, documentaries, animation, and a fateful game of scrabble.

Join us for the launch of LIFF SHORTS 2024 with a screening of some of the short film highlights from this year’s line-up. You can see selections from the Louis le Prince, World Animation, Documentary, British, Queer Shorts, Screendance, and Music Video competitions, plus one from the Fanomenon competition for fantastic genre shorts. There will also be an introduction to LIFF SHORTS 2024 and you can pick up our free printed guide for all short films showing this year. Don’t miss the Award Winners event on 9 November at Howard Assembly Room, and the winners screening is repeated on 14 November at Everyman.
