Cult director Joel Potrykus presents a darkly comedic and unpredictable exploration of two aging slackers intent on carrying out a disturbing pact on a doomed camping trip.

Martin and his upbeat, man-child friend Derick wander through the woods, armed with fireworks, glowsticks, and a mysterious metal contraption. As ill-equipped for survival as they are for the world itself, their pact soon unravels when one has to face the consequences of failing to uphold his end of the deal. Shot on 16mm, Vulcanizadora blends Potrykus' signature “metal slackerism” with offbeat dark humor and a raw exploration of outcasts and misfits.

"There is no film you’ll ever see like it as it patiently builds to a terrifying explosion and then keeps going from where most would stop, leaving us to pick up the pieces." - Chase Hutchinson, Collider
