Sam is a Film Producer who currently has several new and exciting documentary and fiction projects in development, with production company Hidden Pictures North. His slate of films have screened at a number of festivals including Sheffield Doc/Fest and Aesthetica in 2021.
Sam works across film exhibition, production and education, currently managing and delivering the BFI Film Academy Plus Programme with Film Hub North. The BFI Film Academy Plus programme creates opportunities for young people to engage with film through workshops, events, screenings and a Micro Short Film Fund for emerging filmmakers. Sam has also previously worked directly with distributors such as eOne and Altitude and is currently the Filmmaking and Producing Tutor for MetFilm School, Manchester.
