INDIs Film Awards 2025: The Winners

The 13th edition of the INDIs Film Awards took place at Hyde Park Picture House on Saturday, 8 March. Audiences, juries, and the INDIs team were floored by the diverse talents of the shortlisted independent filmmakers, aged between 15-25. Huge thank you to all who attended!

The selection of fresh short films was judged by our fantastic industry guests! We were joined by filmmaker Jordon Scott Kennedy, filmmaker and Hyde Park Picture House Deputy Operations Manager Cat Lister, and filmmaker and sound engineer Devon George, who provided live feedback and valuable insights into what makes a short film stand out.

Congratulations to the 2025 INDIs Film Award winners:

15-18 Category

Winner: Angry Ladybug, directed by Khalid Rashid

Runner-Up: Twelve and a Half Percent, directed by Jared Hall

19-21 Category

Winner: Lupo Mannaro. directed by Matthew Eyre & Philip McKeever

Runner-Up: On the Way, directed by D'vonti Michael Phillips

22-25 Category

Wiinner - Sons of Venus, directed by Hector Miller

Runner-Up: Synergy, directed by Emilie Bouet Conran & Honor West
