Special Event Venues

The Festival Hub

The Carriageworks will act as the film festival hub located in the Electric Press Development on Millennium Square. This venue includes bars and restaurant giving Film Festival attendees plenty of room to relax, meet with friends and speak with the festival team and guests.

The Film Festival once again challenges the stereotype of the cinematic experience by utilising a number of alternative venues around the city. In addition to traditional cinemas we again will use venues including Leeds Art Gallery, The Adelphia, Town Hall and the Hi-Fi club.

The Visitor Centre

Courtyard of The Light, The Headrow

Opening Times: From 10th October 12pm - 6pm / 4 - 16 November 12pm - 8pm

The Visitor Centre will act as a central information point for the Film Festival. You will be able collect Film Guides, flyers and up to date newsletters from this location. The centre will also show film clips, trailers and festival highlights throughout the day. The friendly Festival staff will be on hand to provide advice, make recommendations and answer any questions about tickets, venues and screenings.
