Another Planet is a cinematic poem in the tradition of Koyaanisqatsii and a rigorous critique of the humanitarian crisis caused by the unfair distribution of wealth across the world. Opening with a dreamlike sequence in which a shaman imparts a dream of paradise on earth, it goes on to document the everyday life of children from the Congo, Cambodia, and Ecuador forced into labour, prostitution or the army with moving and inspiring narration by the children, describing their everyday struggles with great dignity and fortitude.
