The Film Festival and Jumbo Records present I Need That Record, an irresistible documentary for record lovers everywhere. Part celebration, part lament, the film faces the myriad threats against the indie record shop’s survival from corporate record labels to the digital revolution. Featuring Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth, Ian Mackaye of Fugazi, activist/author Noam Chomsky, Mike Watt of the Minutemen and many US indie record stores. Jumbo Records will provide a stall for the evening and DJs at the festival bar.
